Louisa's life experiences provide her with a broad and deep palette from which to draw her prospectives for healing. She truly enjoys helping clients make changes toward a deeper, more connected and meaningful life.
Louisa has been in the field of professional counseling for over 20 years. She has experience working with families, children, adolescents and adults in a wide variety of clinical settings. She enjoys helping families in crisis or those who need some extra support during times of stress and change. Louisa is Professor of Counseling and School Psychology at Southern Connecticut State University where she teaches in the graduate programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a former president of the Connecticut Counseling Association and is a board certified national counselor (NCC).
